Sandy eye is a warning sign
I work as a graphic designer in an advertising company. Like any other member in my team, I face pressures of deadlines and tight work schedules. I am often required to work additional hours and work an average of 50 hours a week. During the peak season, I typically spend close to 12 hours a day, 6 days a week on my laptop. Every time I have an important deadline, I just can’t afford to rest. Lately, I feel as if there is sand in both my eyes. I asked my mate Bryan to blow it out, but when I kept asking him to do that, he laughed at me saying, I was being paranoid.
When I got my eyes checked last week, the eye doctor told me the sandy feeling could be a warning sign of dry eye disease. He gave me artificial tears, but it did not help. Has this happened to you? I am afraid that if I cannot get rid of the problem, my concentration levels, and work productivity will be badly affected.
