I am a typical college guy addicted to gaming. Do you know what that means? Well, I play both online and offline games at least 4 hours a day (all my friends are hardcore gamers too). Recently, I have been having a hard time because my vision becomes blurry real fast, and my eyes are dry, stinging, and burning. I have to get close to the screen to see what is happening on screen.

The bad dream becomes a nightmare

My ex-girlfriend kept warning me about my eye health again and again, but I just ignored her. She once threatened to cut off my game time and asked me to see a doctor. I didn’t think much of it back then and thought it was not that serious, nothing a few eye exercises couldn’t fix.

Long hour gaming may cause dry eye disease

I realized I was wrong, and what could have been just a bad dream soon became a nightmare. Nowadays, I can't play several game levels in a row like before. I keep having to rub my eyes to gain a clearer view, but the problem keeps coming back. Eye drops help me, but only for a short period. I guess it’s time to see an eye doctor.
